Restoring Motion, Relieving Pain &
Loving Life Again.

From our state-of-the-art clinic - home to the Highlands' only dedicated veterinary hydrotherapy treadmill and doggie gym - to tailored home visits brought straight to your doorstep, we provide compassionate, expert care for dogs and horses.

A Little About Us

Founded in Inverness in 2013 by Chartered Physiotherapist Brid Walsh, Alba has always been about providing exceptional, personalised care.

At Alba Veterinary Physiotherapy, we help dogs move better, recover from injury or surgery, manage long-term conditions and enjoy life to the fullest.

From hands-on physiotherapy and underwater treadmill hydrotherapy to laser therapy and advanced gait analysis, we combine specialist knowledge, modern equipment and a genuine love of animals.

Whether visiting us at our Inverness clinic or receiving treatment at home, every dog is treated as an individual, with care tailored to their needs.

What to Expect at Alba

Every dog is different, and so is their journey with us.

From our very first conversation to their ongoing rehabilitation, we take the time to understand your pet, their needs and what you'd love them to achieve

Getting to Know
Your Dog

At your first appointment, we'll carry out a thorough, hands-on physiotherapy assessment. We'll look at how your dog moves, identify areas of discomfort or restriction, and begin building a picture of their individual needs.

Your Dog's
Personal Plan

We'll create a tailored plan of care, including home exercises and appropriate treatments such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or laser therapy.

We'll monitor progress and adapt their programme as we work towards your dream goal together.

A Personalised Approach

Not every dog needs every assessment or treatment. We tailor each journey to the individual, focusing on what will make the biggest difference to your dog's comfort, mobility and quality of life.
